by Guest » Thu Aug 31, 2006 12:28 am I am trying to figure out how much heparin to use in an experiment. I need 200 IU/mL Heparin. How much is this in U/mL?
International Unit measures biological effect where as U is a measure of enymatic activity--so they are different. Is this just a matter of common missplacement or is 200 IU different from 200 U heparin?
